Making your dog’s treats at home means you get to control the ingredients, while also making your dog feel like royalty!

In these Apple and Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes for Dogs you will find the following nutritious ingredients to keep your furry friend healthy and wagging their tail each time you make this recipe:

  • Pumpkin: Pumpkin is great for your dog’s digestive health. It’s a rich source of fiber and can help keep our pet’s regular as well as being a great source of beta carotene.
  • Apples: The saying “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” is for a reason! Apples are super healthy for both people and dogs. They are loaded with antioxidants and phytonutrients that may help protect your dog against chronic diseases such as cancer and heart disease. Apples are also great for freshening your dog’s breath, they are rich in fiber and pectin and support a healthy digestive system.
  • Coconut Flour: I am always trying to include grain-free flours in my recipes since many dogs have a grain sensitivity. Coconut flour is a great option and since it’s very absorbent, a little goes a long way.
